National Occupation Classification (NOC)
The NOC provides a standard language to describe the work done by Canadians. When visiting both the Essential Skills Profiles website and the How do your skill Measure Up? website you will find all occupations are linked to the NOC. The NOC describes the main duties, educational requirements and an extensive list of job titles that fall within a given occupation.
